Learning 2 Sew More

Full day Camp Only ($220) Fabric for skirt and vest addional cost

 

 This Camp is designed for those who want to take then next serious step into the world of sewing.  If you know your machine and want more of a challenge this class is for you.  You will learn new skills, create projects using those skills and you will be challenged, but as you learn to skill and technique to your creativity, the sky is the limit.    

 

This Series has 4 Lessons. Each lesson is delivered in 2 / 4 hour classes.   (For a total of 8 classes.) You will build a portfolio of hand stitches and seam finishes.  You will learn many sewing terms. They will be taught with visual examples as well has written definitions.  You will learn about fibers and fabrics.  You will also begin developing a Portfolio of your Own Sewing Projects.   (The Learning 2 Sew More camp is a full day camp – 4 days- that covers each of these classes in morning and afternoon sessions.)

 

Learning 2 Sew More teaches you Basic hand stitches needed for dressmaking and crafts.  You learn more details on how to read a pattern inside and out.  You'll learn some of the different ways to finish out seams.  You will also learn about fabrics.  Learn about man-made and natural fibers found in the many fabrics found today.   You will make a basic skirt, vest, travel sewing kit, and more.
